A former professional rugby league player for Canberra "in its glory days", Paul is adept at tackling obstacles.
He is an experienced private investigator who specialises in workers' compensation, CTP, public liability, disability and personal injury, robberies, vehicle theft and fraud. He has public relations and marketing qualifications.
His inside knowledge of the industry and operational procedures gives him the ability to provide professional presentations for clients. "Being able to give clients a clear idea of how operations are run and brief them on what to expect reassures them that we know our business. That's important for fostering new client relationships and maintaining relationships with existing clients."
Paul oversees new operatives' hiring and said he would not consider anyone who did not come up to the Verifact standard. "I look for self-management skills, experience, knowledge of a specific area, equipment and how they manage reports. It is important all operatives submit professional reports. They can be the most experienced investigator around, but if they can't convey that in a report we can't give our clients the best result. Our clients know I put my reputation on their investigations and insist they are handled the way I would handle them myself."
Paul has a good network in Canberra, having grown up there. He says "knowing the culture of people and the lay of the land on his home turf" has been a great advantage in providing the best service for clients.
