Shane Griffiths is Verifact’s Chief Operating Officer and holds responsibility for all operational divisions of the company.
Shane joined Verifact in early 2006, bringing with him extensive experience in Finance and Management spanning various industries and organisational structures. Shortly after joining Verifact, he was appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer. In this role he is responsible for overseeing all operations of the company. This encompasses all divisional operations, corporate finance and treasury, human resources, risk management, corporate services, insurance and legal, and the office of a company secretary.
Since joining Verifact, Shane has completed a number of strategic initiatives and transactions for the group, which has contributed to building a successful team of people throughout the Verifact group of companies. In 2006, the merger of Verifact and Protocol and later Marine & General Insurance services in Western Australia, created the leading Investigation services company in Australia. In 2008 Shane oversaw the strategic acquisitions of five successful companies spanning Traffic Management, Security Services, and a specialised Registered Training Organisation.
Together with overseeing the successful integration of the above mentioned transactions, Shane has driven and contributed to a number of cost reduction and efficiency improvement programs, business process reviews, improvement and enhancement of capital management programs, development and management of corporate governance and it’s alignment to business practices, together with organisational restructures to ensure the company remained competitive at all level and within all divisions.
Shane, who holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Taxation from QLD University of Technology also is a member of CPA Australia and uses this background to the wide benefit of the Verifact group of companies.
