At Verifact, information technology is central to our current business practice and management and an integral part of our future. We use IT to manage all our investigations, through the Verifact Investigations Management System (VIMS).
VIMS allows us to record details of investigations, monitor tasks in relation to the investigation and track the progress of files. It automatically prompts in relation to set time parameters for turn-around times.
VIMS records the date of advice, review date and due dates and information on people involved, property, vehicles or vessels and premises. It generates tasks in relation to investigations which are also tracked. Clients can be kept constantly up to date by logging onto VIMS and seeing the current progress of an investigation. |
